15th August - UPDATE
The village 'After 8' women's group held their summer tea party last weekend and raised funds which they have donated to the Lidlington Action Group to support this campaign. On behalf of the committee members on the Lidlington Action Group, we would like to publically thank the After 8 Group and its members for this much appreciated support.
19th July - UPDATE
The public consultation on O&H's application to build 5,000 houses here closed today. We registered 308 objections which is getting on for a third of the adult population of Lidlington. Well done to everyone who contributed to that number and thanks to Lidlington Shopltd for allowing the drop box in the shop. We are waiting now for the programme for the Planning Inspector's examination of CBC's Local Plan which we expect to start in October.
The BBC visit the village.

The letters and petitions are all in opposition to the Council’s Local Plan.
The Communities represented were from Lidlington, Marston Moretaine, Ridgemont, Aspley Guise, Barton Le Clay, Arlesey, Biggleswade, Sutton, Potton and Tempsford.
More than 560 signatures were left on reception for Sue Miller –Project officer for the Council who declined to accept them in person.
